Ankara - the capital of Turkey with the population about 3.3 million people. The city is located in the central part of Turkey (Anatoly), and is at height of 850 meters above sea level.
Ankara — very ancient city. Here enough various monuments of architecture which should be visited. In 1200 B.C. the city fortress served as a shelter for neighboring inhabitants.
The city didn't manage to avoid change of governors. Serially Ankara frigiyets, Persians, Celts, Byzantines, Arabs, crusaders and, at last, Ottomans owned.
Climate of Ankara - typically continental. Summer - long and hot, with cool nights, sometimes there are pouring rains. Winter – cold and low-snow.

At the same time, in Ankara enough modern shops and shopping centers: Calvin Klein, Polo, Burberry's, Beymen etc.
Ankara is of interest, perhaps, only for fans of excursion rounds and businessmen.
