It is located in the south of the country, at mountain Tsugshpittse bottom (2964 m.) it is possible to name it the most popular mounting skiing resort of Germany. The season lasts from the end of December till the end of March. Here it is possible to find mountain-skiing lines for any level of preparation. The resort shares on two basic zones of driving: and the Garmish-classic.
The first represents a glacier where it is possible to go for a drive even in the summer. There there are lines for a virgin soil. In turn, the Garmish-classic basically is intended for beginners - there wide and gentle slopes. There are springboards for jumps, there is a slalom line, there is a snowboard. To professionals of Garmish-Partenkirhen it is interesting, first of all, by a downhill racing line. Having been tired of sports entertainments, it is possible to visit the architectural pearl which has settled down nearby to a resort of Germany - Neuschwanstein Castle.
